Following weeks of hard work by the HR team, eShopWorld is releasing our new Employer Branding campaign this week, with the aim of attracting even more top talent to the company.
The Employer Branding campaign is based on our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), a three-pillar strategy focused on the culture of eShopWorld – ‘Learn. Collaborate. Change the world of eCommerce’.
Speaking about the release of the Employer Branding campaign, Tommy Kelly, CEO eShopWorld said,
eShopWorld is going from strength to strength globally and to keep up with the demand of such a successful business, we have to attract the absolute best talent to the company. I’m very proud of eShopWorld and what we’ve built so far and look forward to implementing the Employer Branding to great success.
3. What is Employer Branding and why do we do it?
An Employer Branding campaign helps us to communicate what differentiates eShopWorld as an employer of choice and creates an awareness in the minds of potential candidates of our strong values, ambitions, and culture. It also gives a clear picture of what we offer employees both internally and externally.
Following a very successful hiring year to date in 2019 – with over 140 new hires across permanent and contract roles – and with plenty more active roles advertised, the HR team wanted to continue excelling in this way by creating an awareness of eShopWorld both on and offline through a concerted campaign.
Bringing on board Murray PR who worked closely with the team, and following extensive outreach and research amongst eShopWorld’s hiring managers and other staff members, the EVP and Employer Branding campaign were conceived.
eShopWorld’s Employee Value Proposition
1. Always Learning
eShopWorld prides itself on encouraging and empowering learning for our employees and has a strong programme of personal and professional development to empower us all.
2. Collaborate for Success
eShopWorld collaborates with the best – the best brand and, of course, the best talent and team members. To succeed and move forward to an even brighter future, we are committed to the best – the best solutions, brands and being the best.
3. Leading Change
eShopWorld is at the forefront of change in the eCommerce industry and we are committed to rising to the challenges that come our way in this ever-evolving industry. We are experts in our field and bring that expertise into everything we do in every aspect of the business and industry.
How will the Employer Branding be rolled out?
From Monday 21st October, eShopWorld will be advertised in local newspapers around North County Dublin and the M50 including Meath and Louth, to raise awareness of eShopWorld’s convenient location to these areas. We have updated our careers page, launched fun “day in the life” branding videos, are running a digital advertising campaign and will have a sponsored page on Indeed.com dedicated to showing the live roles and painting a picture of life at eShopWorld.
We have done amazing work in creating this campaign and rolling it out, and to me, it exemplifies the culture and employees of eShopWorld – working together to create something great.
